Feature Estate Build of the Month
This generational estate build was a bare land 3.7 acre lot when we started. We becan by clearing land and cutting trees that were in the footprint area of the new home to be built. We milled the timber to use for the home’s timber accents. This is a 2350 sq foot semi custom rancher. Featuring timber covered entrance and rear seating area with timber accents throughout. The client wanted large strong Timbers and we delivered. We calculated the volume of wood we could process from the trees and milled what we needed.

Only one piece of timber was purchased for this first build. This home features large 8 foot solid core doors. Timber truss inside and timber beams. Timber furniture accents. Custom wood burning insert fireplace. Large custom kitchen with pantry three bedrooms. Master with a timber bed and closet space behind a timber wall. Ensuite with tastefully artistic tile. 2.5 bathrooms and single and triple garage.
A cistern was installed to help with watering the vineyard planted by the owners as well as a storage shed for fire wood and small room abbatoir for game animals.

ATTACHED SUITE
We build suites that are minimally attached to the main residence providing a relaxation of height , design and fire code rules. We found that some times the carriage home rules were a little too stringent for some home owners and a possible solution was for an attachment to the main house.
Rules do allow this to be only a deck or a roof attachment providing proximity yet distance to the second dwelling. No shared wall! This picture shows an extreme example of a build we did where there the full height allowance permitted us to have a roof top veranda third story for the carriage house style suite.
