Westview Ford Renovation

Astra Bay was approached to do a complete renovation of the commercial space Westview Ford. The renovation covers the service area, podiums, offices and boardroom and an addition of new washrooms, all updated to the new Signature Program Ford design.

Rural Renovation

Here, the homeowner took on an extensive addition and renovation, and asked Astra Bay to come and assist the home and property to completion. The home is placed on a 130acre property with a 5acre lake, fenced duck pond area and a large grove of Empress trees for oil distillation. The house is completely off-grid with solar power, propane furnace backup, a wood-fired boiler for hot water and radiant in-floor heating. A bridge was built to a small island surrounded by a moat, with extensive decking on the island featuring a wood-fired hot tub and sauna. The kitchen cabinets are Douglas-fir with the breakfast nook featuring a Balboa hardwood counter.
